The Women of Achievement Awards is a bi-annual event designed to recognise successful women from around the region. The awards, organised by Women in Business, not only reward those in business but also recognise the excellent work being done in the public, voluntary and community sectors.
This year’s awards will take place on Friday 16th November at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Willerby from 12pm but before the awards can be presented, nominations are needed! Therefore the search is now on to find women in the Humber region who are making a difference in the world of business and to the community.
The award categories and criteria for entry can be seen below and we are keen to get as many entries as possible this year - so if you know someone who might fit the bill then nominate them! Nominations can come from anyone you can even nominate yourself. A downloadable entry form is available, so don’t delay get your entries in today!
The 2005 Women of Achievement Awards were a sell out and this year looks set to be just as popular. Women in Business have secured musician, author and all round entertainer, Toyah Willcox to speak at the awards and no doubt she’ll have lots to say about her life in the limelight. Tickets for the luncheon and awards cost £32 and a downloadable booking form is available here.
The 2007 Women of Achievement Awards are supported by Business Link Humber, our main sponsor.
