About Women in Business

Women in Business is a networking organisation for decision-making women in Hull, East Yorkshire and North/North East Lincolnshire. It provides a forum for women to share information.

The aim is to contribute through training and development to member’s business and personal lives, whilst promoting the full potential of women as managers and entrepreneurs.

With a varied programme of events, both business and social, we offer members the opportunity to share ideas and experiences, make business contacts and learn from each other.

The bi-annual ‘Women of Achievement’ Awards were established to recognise the talents and excellent work that women are achieving in their field. Achievement comes in many guises and deserves wide recognition that is rewarding for you, your people and your organisation – an essential boost in a competitive environment.

All short listed entrants receive due recognition for their achievement and a panel of judges select a winner in each category along with an overall winner.

Entering these awards not only provides the opportunity to recognise personal or organisational achievement, but can also open new business opportunities through the extensive publicity surrounding the event.
